Bar Mills Pinkhams Diorama.
« on: June 11, 2011, 03:37:33 AM »
Thought the forum is a little quiet so i decided to show a few pics of a structure / dioramas ive been working on for a while now.
Im moving house at the end of the week so it will be put on the shelf but i want to tackle it as my first project after i move and get it finished.

No plan for it to be on a layout at the moment since it doesnt really fit in with a small backwoods theme but maybe one day if my self grows into a room  ;D

So there is a lot to do to get this diorama finished.

Lay some track
Get some ground cover down
Finish off a few things like door handles and light fittings
Plenty more details to paint
Get some figures painted as well

Hopefully im motivated enough after my move to get it finished.
Cheers Adrian

The first thing to do in posting images is store the photos somewhere.

We have a gallery here on the forum for each person. You can upload a file through that. (not to sure if the process is straight forward for yourself and i cant remember if it took a litle playing around in the first place. Just have a go and see. (I might get a chance to write a step by step later on tonight after work)

Once you have your photos in your album you need to ge tthe image location (web address of the image). You can normally right click on a picture and go to image properties.

Copy the file path.

Next go to your topic you are posting in.
There is a button just above all the smiley faces 2nd on the right.
Roll your mouse over it and it should say "insert image".

Click on it and you should see this in your text box [ img ][ /img ]
I have added spaces there so it appears.
If you paste the image file location you coppies before in the midle your imahe should be inserted

This is just off the top of my head. I should post a how to later on tonight. The forum may well need one. Hope it helps

Well this model took a change some time ago. Never ended up on the diormama and had a bit of a rework with a new roof.
Sitting in storage again now it is.

I should reay finish this one off and sell it onto someone to mount on their layout.
Its taken up space on my shelf for a few years now!

Maybe i should dig this one out tonight.
