Blackstone now has the details for these announcements on their web site, both for the K-27 third run, and for the second run of tank cars. The latter are announced for this fall already. Once again, there will only be sound versions of the K-27. I don't like the idea of having to pay for something I don't care for. Particularly since the sound option is not exactly a cheap addition. On the other hand, they now optionally offer every version weathered as well. I think that is a great option. So, while there are no new numbers, there are a lot of new versions. Among the weathered ones, only the post-wreck RGS 455 had been offered that way before.

I'm thinking I might actually jump in this time.  Since I don't model the D&RGW or RGS, I haven't found it necessary to buy one.  Then I bought an MMI k27 and love it.  Now I'm thinking I need a BS one to compare it.  I'm probably going to end up modeling D&RGW before it's all said and done.  I think I will buy through  you Tom.

Weathered with sound!  ;D

Are the 2nd run tanks cars coming out before the EBT hoppers? I know the tanks are expected late this year and the K-27's in Spring next year, when are the EBT hoppers expected?

I noticed they just extended the reservation deadline on the K-27s.
